The rain couldn't deter a big turnout for Newcastle Allotment Show on Exhibition Park - and we were delighted to see Anne Pelham win 2nd prize for her chili jam! - pictured below. As well as talks, workshops, live music, wellbeing sessions, family activities and entertainment, you could make an eco-smoothie by generating bike power, and ride on the miniature steam railway. Many thanks to Peter Kellett for photo contributions.
